Tour of Etruscan Necropolis

The Etruscan tombs are archaeological sites located in central Italy.

The cemeteries are an important testimony of the Etruscan civilization and habits: here you'll find the remains of impressive monuments and tombs decorated, demonstrating the economic wealth of the period (seventh century BC) as the interest the cult of dead and the belief of an afterlife.

The tombs were painted with real life subjects and then with fanciful images depicting scenes of the underworld, here the Etruscans deposited the food and all items they thought might serve the deceased.
